Gourmet Breakfast - Santa Fe Style

The Bobcat Inn serves such delicacies for breakfast as Three Cheese Enchiladas served with a Mild Spinach Green Chile Sauce topped with a Poached Egg. The hot entree' which changes daily is accompanied by a pastry, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and granola. We also serve locally roasted coffee.

Amy's approach to breakfast is always using the freshest ingredients available and at the same time being creative. She was a caterer in Santa Fe, NM for many years. She met her husband John in the American Culinary Federation Chapter here in Santa Fe. Amy prepares all of the breakfasts here at the B&B and has a lot of fun doing it. Some of her other specialties are Stuffed French Toast with Cream Cheese and Walnuts served with a Warm Apricot Sauce, Scrambled Eggs with Calbacitas (a fresh squash and corn hash with green chile), and Blue Corn Blueberry Pancakes with Pecans with warm maple syrup. Amy always asks her guests about their dietary restrictions or likes and dislikes and tries to cater to everyone making the Inn a family friendly getaway. Almost everyone mentions the food in the B&B's guest book.

In the summer, guests and the general public can make reservations for afternoon tea, served in the beautiful garden on Saturdays from 2:00-5:00PM.  Amy had a tea room in Texas as well as Vermont. It is one of the specialties of The Bobcat Inn. Price is included for guest and is $7.00 for non-guests. The tea consists of such delicacies as Roquefort and Cucumber Sandwich Points, finger sandwiches, scones, Fresh Fruit Compote with Poppy Seed Dressing, Miniature Espresso Brownies with Whipped Cream, Lady Fingers with Lemon Curd, etc.  The tea menu changes weekly. Tea is a special time for guests and friends to visit and relax and enjoy themselves, and enjoy the old world ambience of The Bobcat Inn.  The inn also has a new gift shop with very eclectic items such as a unique collection of turtles bought from an estate, antiques, and several pieces of folk art.
